After being on a Disney Vacation in early February, I had an opportunity to tease and razz a friend who was anxiously awaiting his Cruise and vacation down south. While my family and I were busy in the Florida sun, he was here in Newfoundland buried under 15 feet of snow, freezing his behind off.
Today I received a picture from him while he’s laying on a beach in Florida (I think) while he’s finishing off the tail end of his vacation cruise. He and his wife decided to stop over and have a few days in Florida, stretch out on the beach and enjoy maybe a day or so at Disney themselves.
With his Blackberry in hand, he sent me this wonderful picture while laying on the beach during his Florida vacation.
Well, his razzing me is effective, I do long for the warm beaches but there is one consolation – I won’t be leaving work today in the snow. We have a lovely day here in Newfoundland.
