Spirit of Hockey owners Brian and Elizabeth Urlacher have left Newfoundland after spending almost 3 weeks touring our province and completing many different photo shoots for their upcoming hockey fundraising calendars.
After meeting these wonderful people through a chance encounter online, it was a sad day to see them leave. Brian and Elizabeth are wonderful and passionate people that have spent hours giving back to the hockey community through their calendar. Over the course of their stay here in Western Newfoundland, my family and I got to develop a friendship with the Urlachers and spent our days entertaining these great people.
We had a wonderful time with Brian and Elizabeth, including doing things like the Marble Zip Lines, a tour down the Humber River on individual rafts and a jiggs dinner (complete with a Screech-in) at my home!
Meeting the Spirit of Hockey owners has been a great experience and the friendships made will extend well beyond the online world!
Good luck in the rest of your travels Brian and Elizabeth – we miss you already!
