Couldn't have expressed my point of view on this any better. As I tweeted recently, I was there when Bill Gates launched the Tablet PC back in 2000 - yes, 9-10 years ago. Kudos & props to Steve for perfecting the hype machine - and a great UI. The technical merits (underlying functionality) leave much to be desired ; IMHO. Amen.

Kudos & props to Steve for perfecting the hype machine – and a great UI. The technical merits (underlying functionality) leave much to be desired ; IMHO.
